AC changes
I have a 02 F150 with automatic climate control. At idle the air comes out of the vents. When you accerate it goes to the top of dash. Vacuum hoses are good. How can I tell if the control unit is bad? If it is can you only get it at the dealer? Also can you change it from automatic to a manual system? Thanks in advance.

It is usually a broken plastic vacuum line the runs behind the battery to the wheelwell that hooks to a vacuum canister. When you accelerate, the engine vacuum drops and the vents default to defrost.
