need quick help with fuel lines

I am doing the hutch and harpoon mod, and cant get the quick disconnects off, ? is can I cut the m!@$$$#%$&^&^%%^&* and just use double hose clamps when I'm done? thanks,

is there another method i can use to unplug these fuel lines, the tool I bought doesnt fit even though it says its for those sizes.......

that is probly your problem with correct tool they come loose pretty easy,you probly got tool for a/c lines

it says for ac and fuel lines (for most ford applications) my FOOT it is, Im loosing daylight fast so Im just gonna cut em screw it

The supply line is 3/8 and the return is 5/16". Your foot may fit both of them...

had the same problem couple years back with a lot of fighting finally got it,next time had correct tool and was easy

theyre the blue and grey ones. the small ones.

take em and split then apart and push them over the fuel line. the flange away from the fitting. then push them into the fitting. it doesnt take much and just pull the hose away.
