Received my latest '49 F1 project from my friend who did the Body Work. Traded my '67 F250 Camper Special for the Labor. I don't have the genetics to do proper Body Work :-)
Truck is completely empty and ready for me to get welding and fabricating on.
I haven't decided on the theme yet. My last '49 was a beast to drive but I was drag racing it a lot. I think this one will be low, quiet and easy to drive.
I intend to replicate my Dad's '37 Ford Coupe with the bad-*** flat motor in the future. So I don't have a burning need to put a flattie in this one. As much as I think they are the best sounding engine on earth.......
I'm not sure I'd know what to do with a truck like that, a great perfect shell. There are so many cool choices and directions that you could take it in....
