Direct wiring for ipod
First things first...I'm new to this forum and I've enjoyed reading everyone's great posts!
For those with the rear DVD, you can direct wire an ipod into the aux inputs on the face of the rear DVD player. Then select DVD mode to hear ipod, the sound quality is so much better than an FM transmitter.
