Bullet Proof

I have a 99 F150 that I bought new. I have 212K miles on it and with maint intervals followed religously this truck has never had any repairs other than replacing the alternater. It is absolutely the best vehicle I have ever owned. Even now it runs and drives like a new one. With a good detail it even looks new. I have a Super Duty now and only use the F-150 as a spare but it is always ready to go when I need it.

I agree. They are good trucks. I bought mine off of a repo lot a little beat up with 105k miles, nobody else wanted it. I fixed a few minor things and am up to 108k. It is running strong. I expect to get around 200k without doing anything major to it.

I agree they are strong trucks. I bought my 97 F150 4.6 auto 4x4 about 1.5yrs ago and it had 170k on it when I got it. I now have about 202,300 and just got done pulling a trailer over the weekend. I put about 35 miles on just towing the trailer which weighed in at around 5000lbs. I haven't had to do any major repairs yet.

160,000 on mine and its been pretty good. Engine leaks a little oil on the passenger side between the block and head, the odometer blacks out every now and then and it has a slight chatter somewhere in the rear of the truck every now and then, but all in all its been pretty good.
