Shifting Question
In the last week my F-250 (4X4 w/400) has been giving me problems. This problem only occurs when im trying to shift in 2nd gear and Reverse. 1st, 3rd, and 4th are great. For the last month and a half it was very easy to get in and out of all the gears. What is happening is that when I shift into second (from a stop since I hardly use first gear to get moving) the truck rattles immensely until I let COMPLETELY off the clutch. Same thing happens in reverse...until I completely let off the clutch I get immense rattle from the truck while Im moving it. Any thoughts on what might be wrong?

The lining on the clutch disc has worn away down the metal. The chattering sensation is more prevelant in first and reverse, or in your case-second. Time for a new clutch disc/pressure plate/throwout bearing/pilot bearing.
You shouldn't use second gear to start from a dead stop. It's hard on the clutch, and is one reason why you now need a new one.
