Chip On Order, Two Questions
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 19-Jul-02 AT 04:16 PM (EST)]I ordered a Diablo Delta chip for a 02,F-350,4x4,6spd,computer code EGB3.I wish to do away with the speed limiter if possible.The courteous gentleman that I talked to didn't know for sure if it could be done on this computer code and figured I would ask you here.Can it?
Also,I ordered it with the 87 and 92 octane programs with the ability to turn off the chip.Since I have a manual trans.,will I gain anything on the 87 chip program?

Yes, it removes the limiter. With a manual, unless you want to ability to switch on the fly, the 87 won't give much (probably hardly noticeable). I recommend you just get a one program Delta. You can still switch it but you'll need to do it with the engine off. It'll save you some $$$. Let me know and I'll modify the order (it was Frank you talked to).

Thanks for your fast response.I got to thinking about it after I read another post here.I would say my best bet is to go with the one program (premium fuel)and be able to turn the chip off.I guess what I'm saying is the one program Delta.Good news about removing the speed limiter.

Okay, we'll send a one program and reduce the price appropriately.
Franky is starting the learn the ropes with chipping. What he
