I'm new to the board---previous owner of several fords, last was 2001 F150 w/5.4. Great engine! Currently thinking about lite duty 150 w/ 4.6 to pull small (as in 10-16 ft) travel trailer, utility and motorcycle trailer. If mileage is going to be same as 5.4, then I'll rethink the 4.6. Any help?
Modelavicky--as in '31 Model A Victoria--also a '27 Model T Roadster--both restored with original equipment.
You might get a better response in the F150 forum (on the main forum page). Although the general consensus is that the 5.4 only gets 1-2 (at most) mpg worse than the 4.6. Most report similar mileage though.
2 very nice cars you have there too!
Check out your local chapter (bottom of the main forum page) to find local Ford owners!!!
Welcome to FTE! I'm sure you'll find everyone here as helpful as ever, and If you get a chance i'd suggest you join your local chapter. That will get you more information and in touch with some people who live in your area.
