Gas Tank
Hi All,
Does anybody have a good stock gas tank for my '53 F100 that they would like to sell? The one in my truck is toast. The truck was stored with gas in tank since '91. Rusted through from the inside and the outside. I know you can buy new poly tanks or steel tanks for around $200.00, and Bobs sells used ones for $175.00. I know that a lot of you have gone to a under bed tank and thought that just maybe you might have a decent stock one laying around.

Hi jmerson,
Thanks for the generous offer! Unfortunately your tank won't work in my truck. Ford started putting the gas tank under the floor of the cab. in 1953, they did this till 1956 when they put the tank behind the seat again.
