Alright guys i really need your help
I'm new to fords, right now i got a jeep cherokee lifted and all...
A guy is selling a 2000 F-250 Supercab Diesel
-$15k
-120k miles
-plow ready
-leaf springs all around, add-a-leaf plus re-arch (for snow plow)
-325's Toyo A/T on some chrome 19"? rims
-oil leak
-A work truck, so a lil beat up....not bad though
This will be a daily driver for me...
Will the leaf springs all around be really stiff on-road?
Is 120K miles high for a diesel?
How is the gas mileage on these 7.3L v8 diesels?
Can you tell me anything I'm missing or give some advice...
Price is high, IMO. He should be in the $9-$12K range unless the truck is perfect. Sounds just like a truck a friend looked at a few weeks ago. This isn't a white truck, for sale on WI-47 just north of Appleton, is it?
Probably. An F-250 is no Cadillac. The additional leaf springs will make it ride a bit harsh. The heavy engine will help a bit, but you're still looking at a vehicle that will remind you it is a truck, every trip you take.
