Dual Flowmasters

I bought and had duals installed on my truck Wednesday. I was trying to play it cool and hopefully my wife wouldn't notice. I got through Wed. ok; and Thursday we had to go downtown to see my daughter. I'm kind of sweating it. My wife my other daughter and I ride 20 minutes including stop and go. All I can here is the new rumble. Neither said anything. I'm thinking women just don't have a clue. We were half way home when my wife looked at me with those "what have you done" eyes. She said " why does your truck sound so loud, did you do some new kind of exhaust or something?" I'm like well yeah I got duals.

"How much did that cost?" "Only a couple hundred!" (I always under state the cost when she doesn't see the receipt.) My daughter in the back chimes in, "mama's riding around in a truck with no air conditioning and you go get dual exhaust." I didn't have a good come back for that one.

Things got kind of quite the rest of the ride home. She did say well I'm glad you have a nice truck to ride in with the dual exhaust, thumping sound system with Ipod interface, train horns and everything. (She drives a 2000 Nissan crew cab manual trans, manual windows/door locks and the ac won't cool.)
