My Dad and I recently went to Andersonville Prison here in Georgia. Growing up I lived right next to Bull Run Battlefield Park (Virginia). Spent many many days and hours there.
He and I have been to many civil war battle field parks over the years. It is sad that they are being destroyed by development.
Andersonville was very thought provoking. The cemetery is almost as moving as Arlington National Cemetery.
