bts valve body ?

I am new to the site, been reading on here for a week or two and have noticed that a lot of guys have recommended the bts vb. How much does this part typically cost and what kind of labor can you expect for the install? I was also wondering if this upgrade significantly extends the life of the transmission or if it just improves shifts? thanks for any replies.

It is $225 with a $150 core + about $20 shipping. I'll be able to tell more Saturday about the install, I'll be doing mine then.

If you can change the transmisson fluid you can install the Valve body very simple. Guzzle has a write up on it. Also much better shifts with it.

Thanks for the responses. I went to the BTS website and didnt really see where you could purchase any of their products online, do you have to call and place the order by phone or is there another website that offers the BTS VB?
