[updated:LAST EDITED ON 12-Sep-02 AT 07:58 AM (EST)]I have a 91 Bronco with a 302 and E40D. I am running 33" tires, K&N, headers, a 3" exhaust w/ high flow CAT and Flowmaster. There has been some headwork done and I have bigger injectors (22 lb/hr?? I think). What would be the best engine chip to go with and is there a tranny control to fix the @$*@(#&$(@# premature torque converter clutch lockup? Do I need some kind of a custom burn for this also? What kind of gains could I expect to see?
Yes, that will require a custom chip. Superchips charges more for the custom fee than the price of the chip! Diablo is the way to go, but only if they have your code. What is your ECU code?
ok, so what does that mean to me? More money I suppose because of the custom program?, is there a way to send the computer to Diablo to let them read it or what ever they do? Besides all this I suppose the bottom line is which is the better chip for what I am looking for (more torque and the delay on the TCC)? What is the bottom line on dollars also?
