50 bucks buys the gun... Seems high but the convienience and small size is the cost I think. It will run off a pancake style small compressor. Then you have air for blowing off parts etc. I have used the $99 compressor to run an impact and die grinder but only for a few seconds at a time...

I got mine off the Cornwell tools truck. I did a search last night to get the jpg and there are many sources for it including e-bay... to buy local I would call around to the paint and body supply houses.

Are you leaving it silver or is that a base to a candy type final color? I always wanted a pretty motor that matched my paint but know it be pretty long as I don't own show trucks...

No base coat to a candy since this is a work/toy hualer and not a show stopper. I just wanted to clean it up while rebuilding and it look semi-cool under the hood. lol
That color is Cast Coat aluminum. I have 2 more coats to go and after it's run up to temp I hear it will darken a tad.
it looks real nice I like the color but a few tips I would not have painted the inside of the filler neck or any thing that is inside of the engine. the spark plug holes and gasket serfices are a real no no. did you get over spray in the cylinders?
screw in some old spark plugs and spread a little grease on the gasket serfices before you paint.
