steering wheel replacement
I'm looking on ebay to replace my stock steering wheel with a factory leather one. My wheel has the cruise in it but no audio controls. Does anybody know what years are interchangable? My expy is a 2003.

Don't know, but bear in mind the following:
1. You will need to remove the air bag module - always fun.
2. You will need a steering wheel puller to get it off the shaft.
3. You will need to go to a garage equipped with a motorcraft computer system in order to reset the airbag light as you will trip a code by disconnecting and reconnecting the air bag.

Yeah same here. I just replaced the steering on my 1998 mustang with a leather one and I got no codes. I did pull the fuse for the airbag one time while the battery was connected and I got the code. I was able to find the fix on the web though by using a paper clip on the connector. Not sure how safe it was but it sure made the light go off.
