1 yr ago today you left. i think of you all day every day. you fought like a hero and those that watched were amazed at your courage and strength.
i can't say mommy out loud. it makes Sassy crazy. every car that pulls in the yard she whines.
Semper Fi sweetheart. we love and miss you more every day. i thank God for the time we had. i curse Him for taking you away. that will pass.
look down on those left behind and smile. you're our hero.
Sas & i love & miss you terribly Nancy.

I still remember a year ago when you posted up when Nancy lost her fight.

Its something I know I will never forget... and I know it reminded me (amongst others) how precious life, and our loved ones are - and that we CAN'T take it for granted.

Thinking of you, and Nancy, Carl

My heart goes out to you. I can't even begin to fathom what you're going through.

I don't know what else to say.

Carl,

I didn't realize that it's been a year since you lost your wife.

I honestly don't know what I would do, or how I would cope, if I were in the same situation.

My thoughts and prayers go to you and your wife's memory. I know that she is looking down and smiling at you.

God Bless You, my friend.

Carl. I opened your thread and didn't have to read before I started crying. All I had to do was see her smiling picture. Hang in there Carl. Your in my thoughts and prayers and I'll light a candle for dear Nancy tonight.

Carl, has it really been that long? Wow how time flies. Hang in there, it only get easier as the time goes on. Family and friends are a big help, visit or call someone you can trust and just talk if you need to.

There is nothing I can offer to ease the memory of loss....Just try to use these days of memories to celebrate life.

As the distance of time carries me further from the losses I have experienced. I find myself reflecting more and more on how lucky I was to have the times that I shared with my loved ones.

Our hearts are with you.

Time can wear away the sharp edges of painful memories such as the death of a loved one, but the pain often returns at certain times. In those times, may you find comfort in memories of the good times you shared.
