The change was on the 302 and 255's, no 50 oz/in 351's. The exact year is hard to determine, even Ford wasn't sure in their 5.0 book. It was somewhere in the 1981-1982 model year. The only 50 oz 157 tooth wheels are strictly aftermarket, no production engines came with this one. All production wheels are 164 tooth.
