I have a 1998 F150 4WD with 5 speed tranny. Computer Code NLK2. Will I be able to feel a difference in power with a chip installation or will it be more like the addition of Flowmaster Cat Back duals and K&N air filter? (no real difference felt, just have to "trust" that an improvement occured.) I won't even experience the difference of firmer shifts that the guys with auto trannies get. I don't neccessarily want "drag strip" performance, just a noticable power increase for off roading and pulling my 21 foot boat.
On the Diablo performance gains page, there are two different 4.6 engines listed- a 4V and a 2V. How do I determine which engine I have?
Finally, which chip, (Diablo or Superchip)would you reccommend for me?
It will be a real, noticiable and usuable gain, not a "I think there is a gain." Having said that, don't expect supercharger performance for 1/10th the cost.
