Tail light covers

Hello all,

Anyone know if the tail light covers fom a second gen Explorer will fit a first gen? I would like to have the amber turn signal lights on my '91, but only see those on 2nd gen Explorers.

On my 97 Mountaineer they are not a cover for the tail-light but a whole assembly that you would either have to split in half (unglue plastic?) or see if you could just use that on yours intact.

In either case, it is not just a cover.

That is interestnig. There is a Mountaineer here and it looks like it is just a tail light cover. I don't know what year it is though, not too familiar with them.

Upon closer inspection it looks like they will not fit unless I do some body work. The newer models wrap around farther than the 1st gens. So, I will keep what it comes with.
