V6 Mustang Shift Point
The coating on the contacts would not come clean with the enclosed pad. I used a sharp knife blade to get the wax-like coating off. The chip worked great after that. I noticed an increase in performance.
The transmission firmness is cool,under aggressive throttle. Getting second gear scratch with the Diablo and K&N was a surprise. It shifts like stock under normal driving.
However, red line is 5200 rpm, and with WOT it had not shifted at 5500 rpm. Can anyone advise where their's shifts and or how high the 3.8L can safely be revved?
