Re-using the Microtuner

Once the microtuner is used on a vehicle, can you revert that vehicle back to stock and use the microtuner on another one or is it forever mated to the original vehicle?

Also, if you install the Hi-Perf program how do you change to the 60-HP program? Can you go back to stock and start over or can you go directly from the Hi-Perf to the 60-HP program in the microtuner?

By the way, I installed the microtuner last night in about 10 minutes on a 2002 SD PSD and so far I'm very impressed with the increase power. The jury's still out on the gas mileage.

Thanks.

I believe it is a "no", unfortunately. Forever mated.

This I cannot answer. I have the V10 gasser. Someone else will chime
in here I am sure....

It took me about 600-700 miles before I saw the mileage come back up
and actually get better (by a small amount) over the stock
chip settings. Give it some time.

No. Its not mated so long as you restore the vehicle to stock.

Revert to stock, then change the tune.
