fuel filter still leaking
ON my 1992 ford f350 diesil 7.3 litter the fuel filter is leaking from the top at one of the electric plug ins,now thats weird to me and probably bad. Has anyone ever heard of that and know how to stop it

It sounds like the leak is at the fuel heater connection. If you're lucky, replacing the o-rings will solve the problem. If your 92 is like my 91, the connection is a spade connector and will just pull out. The heater is removed from the bottom (remove the filter to get at it). I sorta remember it's held in by screws, but you'll fgure it out. Inspect the plastic carefully for cracks. If there are none, new diesel-resistant o-rings (2 if I remember right) and you're good to go. If the plastic is cracked, you can probably get by without it by plugging the hole, unless you live in a cold climate--the heater is pretty expensive for what it is.
