You might want to look into the fender sleeve for additional air. Fairly cheap and guarenteed to give more than enough air.

check the front hole by radiator, it might be blocked, you can open it up more with dremel, this is more likely the problem ,
do you have foam fender sleve ?

you dont have to cut any supports, click on the last link i posted, and see, and the first one i give you explains the flap that might have covered the snorkle , take a good look, or get the fender sleve,

only thing I can see is AIS snorkle poke through farther into cavity than stock unit and that could possibly cut off some air flow
its probly an inch from grill header where old snorkel barly went through radiator header

I did the Zoodad after the AIS with fender sleeve. With just the fender sleeve i never budged the minder. Now with just over 15K and the added Zoodad it still doesn't move.

Nothing got sucked up into the snorkel did it and partially plugged the filter? I remeber when Kwik ran through a swam of june bugs and clogged his.

don't see how anything could have got in it but had that thought also, but will check tomorrow, truck really hasn't been anywhere less than 15 mi in town
the snorkle being so close to header bothers me and only fix for that is cut some off snorkle or zoodad
all my zoodad buildin tools are about 750 mi from here
if I cut snorkle off may get more ar from under truck

I also remember someone stating that the new filterminder with the AIS has a lower trip point, meaning it moves at a lower vacuum pressure than the old ones. That said, I did the zoodad with my AIS and it didn't move at all during our last trip, had quite a few hills easilly pulling into the 25psi range for boost. So if that didn't pull it, then I know for sure it is getting enough air for what I am doing.
