I have been a member for a short while on F150 Online and was refered here for additional information on my 2006 V10 F250 with the piging situation coming from the exhaust.
Anyway, just a simple Hello to everyone and I'll add more to my profile soon...
Thanks Redford...had the warranty repair done back in September, but alas..it still pings and such. It is annoying. I may ask them to try again otherwise I'll have to accept as 'nature of the beast'. Regards...
Hi Krewat...the pinging is loud enough to be heard when going 25mph in a residential. It's kinda like the cat converter sound pinging when you turn off your car. It's just that you hear this sound louder than normal and when driving. As mentioned it may be the nature of the beast...
hydro-37 & countermaker...yup, that's all it is, just louder than my friends Chevy and he loves to rib me about it - though he really likes my truck. If the dealer is willing to try fixing it again I'll give it a shot and let y'all know...
