Ken,
I got rid of my Excursion and just picked up a 2003 F250 Lariat,PSD 4X4 auto trans. Are the current Diablo and Superchip products available for the 2003? Is there any difference for the newer model year? Also, because you need the ECU code for the Diablo, that would make it a vehicle-specific product, whereas the Superchip can be used on subsequent vehicles as long as the original vehicle is put back to stock, correct? The Diablo could be reprogrammed if I change vehicles again, can't it?

Yes.

>Is there any difference for the newer model year?

Yes, newer versions of existing ECU family codes.

>Also, because you need the ECU code for the Diablo, that would make it a vehicle-specific product

4 bank chips, used for the vast majority of Powerstroke applications, cover a great many applications. For example, we use NVK4 4 bank code for the entire NVK family, PMT and several others. One 4 bank program covers the majority of the automatics and another covers the majority of the manuals. If your new vehicle uses the same transmission type odds are that the chip will work.

Yes, the Diablo be programmed again if the new application requires it.
