Master cylinder question

Master cylinder question
I have 1990 Ford F150 6 cylinder 4X4. The rear brake line is screwed into long nut that is screwed into the master cylinder. I would assume that the nut is a pressure regulator or a one way valve. There are no wires going to it. What is it and were can I get one. It appears to be leaking. Parts people at ford have no idea what that is.

You may have to purchase a genuine Ford/Motorcraft master in order to get it...but call Ford back and ask them to look for the proportioning valve mounted on the master cyclinder for your truck..........sometimes just the correct part name can make a parts-person look like a hero....
