Drop I-beams
Okay who makes the most affordable kit to give my truck a 3 inch drop? I have searched the forum and heard all kinds of stories. I am running a 5.0 and AOD tranny in a 67 F100 shortbox.

DJM makes the drop beams and they are like $499 a pair, that's with new king pins. They also have a 2" rear shackle drop, and if you want more in the back and additional 2" hanger drop. The shackles are like $60, and the hanger around $90, I think.

i installed AIM i beams and shackles on my 68 and i am very pleased. i think the prices for these and DJM run about the same. it actually dropped mine anywhere from 3-4 inches in the front, and 4 inches in the back. the pics i have in my gallery right now are when i had an air bag set up in the front, and i removed 2 leaf springs in the back. i really need to update my pics, i may do that this weekend. very pleased!
