Looking for some chip support

Hello all, first time poster on this forum...

Two weeks ago I purchased a 1988 F150 4x4 XLT Lariat with a rebuilt fuel injected 302. I'll be 31 in December, I am late bloomer (got my college degree 2 years ago) and for the first time in my life, I am actually HAPPY with the vehicle that I drive everyday

So, enough shmoozin, I'll get down to the meat of my question...

I would like to increase my HP a bit, although I don't currently tow anything or plan on hauling anything significant outside of building materials for home improvement projects and yard supplies but I would like the truck to perform and sound better. Here is have in mind:

Headers and exhaust first. After I'm happy with the exhaust I was going to look into adding a chip. Ken seems to be the authority here so I followed the link to his site below and did some looking around. According to the site, I assume I should go with: "1987 - 2003 One State Diablo Sport chip for gas engine, One Premium Octane High Performance program".

Does anyone have any advice i.e. suggestions for a different chip, advice etc?

Thanks you for any help, look forward to reading and posting more here...

IF Diablo has a code for your ECU then by all means its the best choice. However, the odds are that they don't and you'll need to go with a Superchips module instead.
