Cat Scale

Thought you all might find this interesting, I put my F350,CC,SB on a CAT Scale this weekend and here are the #s:

Steer Axle: 4800lb
Drive Axle: 3380lb
Gross Weight: 8180

My F250 CC SB (early 99) weighed in recently at 7600. That's with about a couple hundred pounds of extras or so.

The place that I went to charged $8.50. It's a little much just to get your truck weighed but now I know exactly how much I weigh empty and the experience was kind of cool too.

Just go the metal recyclers, they weight your truck full, then when you leave they weight it again. I have weighed all my trucks, with me in them, how much fuel, etc.

And its free...
