I know, "Another Chip Question". Just got my new 03 Sonic Blue F250 auto with everything but leather heated seats. I would love to chip the 5.4l. I was looking at the Diablo since it seems to be the more popular. I will be towing an enclosed trailer. Can I get performance and towing from the Diablo Chip? Will my dealer be upset I installed a chip before the first oil change is due? Does the chip void my Ford warranty? Thanks for the input.
Even though legally they can't void your warranty by adding a chip that doesn't mean some dealers won't try to tell you otherwise. Ask your dealer and act accordingly when it comes to service. I recommend you wait until after the first oil change.
