Eatmy, I thought in your other thread we had narrowed your problem down to the shift motor? I thought you weren't getting power to the motor when someone switches it into and out of 4x4?
If you think it is just a vacuum problem you should be able to manually put the hubs in lock mode by truning the hub selector and then you will have 4 wheel drive. If that is the problem then your issue is the hubs and or vacuum pump.

You are correct the ESOF system has a vacuum solenoid in it.
