new exaust do it yourself kits.
I buy straight sections of pipe and cut it to length, I also bought the tail pipes prebent from an exhaust shop. On my 86 and 96 both pipes had to run down the passenger side, because of the dual gas tanks. On both trucks I hung two pipes in place starting above the transmission cross member to the rear axle. After my straight pieces were in place i used wire hangers as templets to make all the bends for the downpipes to the straight sections. Next I hung the tailpipes in place and used wire hangers to bend some templets for the pipe that runs from the mufflers to the tail pipes.
I took my bent hanger templets to a exhaust shop and had them bend sections of my pipe to match, they also flared each end of the pipe. I took my newly bent pipes and put them in place, it took a little doing but they fit. Since the ends were flared i just slid them over the other pipes and clamped them in place. I hung the whole system using clamp on style exhaust hangers. simply clamp one end on the pipe and bolt the other end to the frame of the truck. I had the clamps in place for almost a year before a seam started leaking on my 86, I removed all the clamps and had a buddy weld everything in place.
Total cost for pipe, tailpipes, labor, hangers, and a set of glasspacks was less then 130 bucks per truck.
