Can't find ECU code
I have looked all over for this goofy code. Ken has been extremely helpful in trying locate the code but we still can't find it. Has anyone else had this much trouble? This is on a '96 F150 with a 351. The computer is located behind the passenger side kick panel. No code on it or the wiring harness.

Passenger side? If I told that I made a mistake. On the 1997+ its on the passenger side, on the 1996 and older its on the driver's side. Or, pop open the hood and look on the firewall (not the inner fender) on the drivers side. You'll see the box just barely sticking through with a rectangular clamp held in place with a 10mm bolt. This clamp has a wiring harness attached to it. You should see the code on the box, or follow the harness and look for it on the harness towards the inner fender.
