2008 Super Duties Now in Australia
Was driving along the Ring Road in Melbourne minding my own business and was passed by a brand new 2008 F350 Powerstroke dually King Ranch in white. Left hand drive still with trade plates. Decided to see where it was going (I knew it would be Ford or VDC) and unsurprisingly it pulled into VDC on Barry Rd.
Despite swearing to the contrary it seems like VDC are embarking on RHD conversions of the 2008 Super Duties. Now the question will be how much wil lthe damage be because the dollar is way higher now - still AUD150k?????
By the way, looked great! If VDC priced the trucks more like they did when the Brazil/Aussie trucks were still available they'd be onto a good thing I reckon. AUD140+ is arm ripping given an F450 is USD50k (AUD versus USD is around 0.83 at the moment so USD50k is AUD60,250). So shipping and conversion is AUD80k
