Core Support

I have a 72 F100 and need a core support. Can i use a different one from a 73-79?

I saw a post just the other day on this....yes, with some slight mods. The mounting holes for the core support to the frame are the same which is 31" inches, the fender mounting holes are the same, I think the headlight buckets was the only thing that was different and that is easily remedied with a drill. I will keep looking again for that post as it had the pics and everything, hardly no difference, and come back and post if I can find.

not to mention the later ones are galvanized.

I've replaced mind with a 1975 had to redill a few holes. No big deal hood latch and some other can't remember..Aw the grille lower support barcket. These core supports our all painted. The Fender wells in later yrs were galvanize.. my 2cents
