over heating
O.K. so my beast is a '78 F-150 w/ a 300. ive swapped out the thermostat, didnt do any good. so today ive swapped out the water pump. i didnt drive it long (not long enough for it to have over heated yet) but in the short distance i drove it, it seemed to get pretty warm, between the M and the A in NORMAL. now im not sure if thats 'cause its a pretty warm thermostat or what. if the water pump didnt take whats the next thing i should try. im 98.837% sure it isnt the head gasket and im praying it isnt the radiator. is there any cheaper things i could try first? thanks alot

mine stays in the O-M when im on the highway and on the N on the drive to and from work... when im mudding... thats a different story.. its usually to the H or about to it depending on how hard im pushing it. i love how the tourque is in first gear when its cold... like when i start it in the morning on the way to work
