ABS light after LED's??
Are our trucks this smart? My abs light came on and cruise quit working after I put LED taillights on. I assume I need to put a resistor in, but I've been on these forums for a while and never heard of this probem with these trucks.
Would a three ohm resistor do it?

you're on the right track, but I cant give you specific numbers. if you're in a hurry, contact Subford on here, he's an electronics guru on here....otherwise, i have heard of this happening before too, so maybe even try a search.

Considering the taillights are driven by a simple switch underneath the brake pedal assembly, or a switch in the vac line for heavier duty F-series, it makes no sense to me WHY ABS wouldn't work correctly with LED tailights.
