i've been told two different things

i need to replace the steering column in my 1976 f250. will a bronco steering column fit? i've been told yes and no so can anyone help me out with this one?

Yep, you can interchange the 73-79 trucks and 78-79 bronco columns. If I remeber right something with the horn was different but it can be made to work (been a while since I've played with any)

Only the 78/79 because the 80's have a column ignition key

But using a 78/79 automatic column will require a wiring difference because of the NSS neutral safety start/Backup light switch.

and in older trucks..the hazard light switch

Any 77 or older Bronco is a totally different animal .
