I recently purchased my first diesel truck. It's an F350 Lariat, crewcab, LB, 2004. I love it and so does my wife (a big plus). After reading a bit on this forum it's beginning to look like finding really reliable diesel mechs to keep it running may be a problem. I live about 30 miles east of Seattle, WA and would appreciate any referrals in this area. TIA and also for the great help on the forum.
You might want to look at Bickford Ford in Snohomish. Large diesel sales and service. I have gotten several glowing reports from fellow 6.0 owners. I have no personal experience with them, as I've had no problems in 24k miles.
The RV place that's near the truck stop at North Bend used to be good at reasonable rates. Prestige, Bill Pierre, and Evergreen are poor. Kirkland Ford is good.
In general, the Bellevue dealerships are poor for warranty work and the Kirkland dealerships are good. You've got me why, but that's been the collective experience of my friends and myself.
