I have an 06 5.4 scab, I dont like the soft shift that I have now and would love more power of course, I have the Magnaflow exhaust and love that ! Will the Edge make my shift more firm or am I not really going to see a differance, I looked through the search for this question but did not see it, any Help would be appreacited, Im sure this question has been asked and hate to bring it back up but I am so close to deciding and want to be sure, I want the shift ot be harder cause when it shifts it feels like it falls on its face. Thanks.
Steve.

I have one for my 07 but haven't installed it yet. I put it in a friend's 05 so he could see what it would do. The change was not dramatic enough for him to justify the cost, but his truck is just a work truck to him too. I want it for the parameter monitoring as much as anything, and I got it before the price was forced up.
Thx VFR, but I was hoping to get some replys from some one that actually drives with the Edge everyday, I know that I wont get a neck snaping shift but just want to get a more crisp shift than what I have now, I had an 04 but never noticed the soft shift that I have in my 06, I really am hoping the Edge will do that for me. Besides all the other features are kool too. I like the ideal of monitoring the mpg, but like I said the shift is what Im after.
My Screw is a daily driver. I run my Edge Evo on level 2 . Love it,great shifts, especially the 4-3 & 4-2 downshift when I punch it. Obtain a cai air induction kit also.
I just switched back to the stock form after driving on level 2 for two months and i think the shift firmness is what I missed the most. You will definitely notice firmer shifts. Also like previously stated you can soften and firm at will.
