Edelbrock Carb ID question

Is it possible to tell which size Edelbrock carb you have by just looking at it someplace for an ID #? I have one on my truck and would like to get the carb "tuning kit" for it, but am not sure which one I have on there.

Thanks, Paul

There should be a 6 or 8 digit number on the bottom P.side on the front, there is a little flat area they put it on, first 4 will be the carb model and the second 2 or 4 are something about the kind of model I think.

Front side of the mounting base on the passenger side should read: 1400, 1405, 1406 etc. This is the model number. Hope this helps.

I agree. That's why I have one on the panel; easy to customize also with the spring + rod kit.

Thanks all for the info...

Paul
