Talking Rebuilding finally Maybe.

I finally found me a 6.9 to rebuild. Fixing to put it in the machine shop to get it worked over. Having trouble finding parts. I will be running a sidewinder turbo, off of my previously wasted 7.3. Looking for performance injectors, Ip or info to do a perf rebuild on a ip. Head studs, gaskets, rings, pistons, cams, lifters, bearings, ect... Want it to be a daily driver with some legs under it! Any help or advice, bad experiences, good experiences will be appreciated. Dont know the good companies from the bad. Thanks.

I know it seems like no one is really interested sometimes, but this is a project I am very interested in. I have two of these motors I would like to rebuild soon, please keep us up to date on your progress and any obstacles you encounter. I am especially interested in your experience with the heads, seems so many complain about warped or cracked heads. It seems it has alot to do with how they are disassembled, tell us how you do. If you search the forum, several have sent lots of tips for replacement parts, ie 7.3 rocker assemblies and such. Good luck, and have fun!!
