Well, the fuel station I've been getting my B20 (Woodway Gas mart in Edmonds) at no longer carries it. Instead they switched to B99 They made the switch this week. Yesterday while filling up I got to talk with the director of marketing for Whole Energy, their supplier. Super cool guy, he even encouraged me to try brewing my own Bio.
I'll update this thread in a few weeks and let you guys know how its working out for me.
It costs $3.36 if I remember correctly. About $.30-$.40 more than #2 around town.
I would brew my own Bio but with a 7-month old and a 3 hour difference in my girlfriends and my work schedule I just don't have the time. But I have the space.
Well, after a few weeks I am getting about 1 to 1.5 MPG better than I was on B20. I havent haad to change my fuel filter tey either. The truck seems to like it.

OK, so it costs about 10% more than #2. However, you're saving about 5-6 cents per gallon on addative - assuming you use fuel addatives at the recommended dilution ratios....

....if you were getting 15 before and you're up to 16.5 now, that mileage increase is also about 10% - so in terms of cost per mile you're basically breaking even.
That sounds pretty good - at least it means you're not using ANY imported petroleum. Just like the bumper sticker I saw the other day said....
BIODIESEL - feed a farmer, starve a terrorist....
Of course if you wanted to decrease your cost per mile, mix the B99 at 20:1 with #2 so you end up with B5. No more need for other addatives and your net cost averaged out is only 1.5-2 cents per gallon instead of the 5-6 per gallon worth of regular addatives....
I've gone from 10.5 MPG(see timing and seals thread) to 11.9, a 13.5% increase.
I also like the whole better for the environment part and not feeding big oil part enough that breaking even or getting a bit ahead is not that important to me.
