Leaking turbo?
The other day I noticed oil inside of all my boost tubes and oil residue on top of my passenger side frame rail where the tube exits the turbo and enters the intercooler. There was oil sitting in all of the bends of the hoses. Is the turbo leaking? Is this somethingg to be concerned about? Thanks for the help.

The oil comes from the crank case ventilation tube that comes from the drivers side valve cover and goes into the bottom of the air intake tube from the air filter to the turbo. If you'll check the tech folder at the top of the 6.0 forum there is a modification to eliminate this. The oil residue is NORMAL but will eventually gum up your intercooler internally. It takes less than an hour to do the modification and is a great benefit to your air system.
