Exaust Manifold 8431-BC ?

Can anyone tell me about these manifolds? What vehicles in what years had them? I accidently bought two left ones and would like to find at least one right one. Anyone have one laying around? Thanks

The numbers 8431-BC tell us they were exhaust manifolds (8431) and were the second version (B). Need the first 4 numbers and letter to know anything of real importance.

That might be C5TE. The first letter of the casting number is for the decade. B is 50's, C is 60's, D is 70's etc...
I'm sure Bill can guide you on the application.

Usually the 4 digit number will be one digit higher or lower.

Exhaust manifolds will be marked 9430 (right) / 9431 (left) not 8431.

I couldn't find a C5TE-9431-BC reference anywhere; only C5TE-9431-AB

Take a closer look at that prefix again, it could be D5TE not C5TE. Ford sez: D5TE = D5TZ-9431-B = 1975/76 360/390 only.

If it is C5TE the part number is: C5TZ-9431-A ~ Fits 1965/67 352 / 1968/74 360/390.

I may have one, I'll look tomorrow. The difference between the truck and car right side was the outlet angle. The truck is straight back, the car is angled.

All of these numbers are driving me crazy. Once and for all, can you tell me the numbers for Exhaust manifolds, right and left, 1959, F100, 4X4, with heat riser? Thanks for your help!

I can tell you now, there was no such animal in Ford's parts books. 59's didn't come with FE's certainly not an FE 4x4

Garland

If you are referring to the gentleman that died in a tractor accident, yes he was my next neighbor.
