I went to www.fordfuelinjection.com and they have a link for something called a tweecer (tweaker).....I have a 95 flareside and I can't find a flash tuner or a comp for my truck...all I can find is a JET chip......but this tweecer installs into the back of your EEC and let's you hook it up to your laptop (like the ricers) to adjust your fuel, timing, spark, and shift points...sounds pretty cool fer only 380 bucks, but has anyone used it?What are your opinions?Thanks.....
I currently use the Tweecer on my taurus sho's. If I may suggest get the Tweecer RT model. It allows live data logging. The changes your able to make to your eec is extensive. Mike
I'm looking at the TwEECer unit and would like to know what kind of peculiarities it has, limitations, and general price : performance ratio. I'm going to do some pretty heavy cylinder head modifications and will need to re-tune to get the most out of my engine. Anyone want to give the down-and dirty details?
Edit: At $550 + S&H, nevermind.

diablo sells chips that plug in the back of the computer. I think mine was 250 for the chip then i spent 400 to have a custom burn on the dyno. Not saying the dyno is required, but i know it was 100% right for the mods done to my truck.
what year truck was that on?because lately I've been hearing of custom tuned chips by superships and diablo......but they say they don't do anything for my year......I'm gettin ready to pull the 5.0 outta my parts truck and rebuild it with some light performance mods.....flat top pistons all new bearing and rings possibly a milder cam from stock as well as port matchin the upper and lower intakes,TB,and headers.Getting ported heads with dual vassco springs and roller rockers then longtube headers goin from 2 into 1 3 inch pipe with probably a Dynomax bullet racing muffler(quiet at idle loud at throttle) Once I'm done with all that, then I'll where I'm goin from there.....
