I won`t take sides here but the 53 would do alot more for me than this kit as cool as it is.
The $$$ recovery on buying the 53 should be better too, I doubt you will get any of the money spent on the kit back and on the 53 you shouldn`t lose all of it, if any at all the way the prices are going.......
Just my 2 cents worth.

To me a "body kit" for a truck is a pushbar, 4" lift, big mud tires, running boards and a trailer hitch.

I say GO 53!

Ya as nice is that body kit is, I think I would go for the '53. I wonder if I know who has that '53 since I grew up in Langham.

Lol well i dont know body kit would look good but with sask roads so rough being you would scratch it up all the time ruin the paint im guessing unless your truck sits high

That is the red truck from autotrader Ryan. I say go for the 53. That bodykit is pretty sweet and all, but not half as sweet as an old ford.

With the kit it looks to me like a cross of a Toyota and a Chev. But than ain't nothing in the last 20 years that excited me much. Now a 53 is a Ford truck. And it looks like a Ford should. Not like a 2007 Studebaker. LOL
