Those pictures they had in that link look alot like my sister's chevy tailgate. It looks like those chevies are made of old malt liquor cans spray painted and soldered together.

dad's hinges are bent a little, and my buddy that has a 2000 ford just took his tailgate off to get new hinges for his. But we ride 4 wheelers a lot, and we generally load from a road ditch, and hardly ever use ramps and most of the time there is atleast a 12 inch step for the atv to climb up before we get it in the bed. I am sure that is hard on things, but not near like those pictures.

These tailgate issues are the least of Toyota's current problems. Toyotas have always been flimsy but reliable.

These days, Toyota Tacomas are trying to kill their drivers~

Explorers never actively tried to kill their occupants.

Gee, maybe Toyota should figure out why their Tacomas accelerate uncontrollably and fix them?

They should probably address the pathetic stamped steel upper control arms on the new Tundra while they are at it.

I would only hope that they do. Heaven forbid they get sued because of someone getting hurt or even worse, dying.

Don't most golf carts have 200+ lbs worth of batteries alone?
