ok its hard to look up something when i don't even know what it is.i know its something to do with emissions well atleast i think.
anyway i turn to you all for some more help.
there is a rubber tube that comes off the front of the throttle body and attaches to a plastic tube and another rubber piece is on the opposite end of the plastic tube and it has an elbow in it and that attaches to a thing on the fire wall. (sorry).
mine is dry rotted and has a hole in it. none of the local part stores have it and it looks as if my only hope is for Ford to have it or a junk yard (dont really want one from there) unless i can make something work.
any ideas as to what this is and where i can get one ?
Vacuum line to the map sensor maybe ??? The map sensor is mounted to the firewall. If that's what it is then I would just get a piece of vacuum line from the local parts store.

If your bronco is a 96 it won't have a MAP sensor....... i'm not sure what your describing, I would take a picture. If its just a vaccum line, you should go to the zone and get a silicon vaccum hose kit off the shelf and be done with it.
That's the CANP(Canister Purge). It basically collects left over fuel vapors that collect while the truck is sitting. That sensor on the side is run by the computer, when running it lets the stored vapors into the intake to be burned off. If you have a hole in the line it's the same as a vaccum leak. The one on mine is a differennt style. It has a solenoid in the line itself next to the TB and the charcoal can is up front. Just go get a length of vaccum line and replace.

Look at wrecker whats a matter if in good shape. I got a whole vac hose setup off 93 for a 95 I redid. It looked like new. If you get good item for 1/2 cost go for it.
